Of a type, the wet, just-past-prime spring flowering tree, I like my pink dogwood, shot on one of those perfect (for me) mornings after rain. At least I can say I had fun playing with them, my flower friend, as John Muir would have it. The small yellow-green true flowers in the center of the pink bracts are peaking, though that means waning too. I am easily amused by slight changes in gesture, emphasis.
The next morning was not so congenial, so here is a fail that I wish was not, too bright for straight shooting, too dull for filtering though I felt I had no choice. So many things not working here.
